12 Teams Already Committed to 2015 Field: An Early Look

12 high school varsity teams are already signed up for this summer's 4th Annual "Wally" Seaver High School Invitational, as we once again prepare for a weekend of fun and competitive action in our efforts to fight Lou Gehrig's Disease (ALS).

Here's a look at the first 12 schools who have committed to the field:



BOYS:

Milford (MA) - The Scarlet Hawks return to the field for the fourth consecutive summer, having won the event in 2012.

Moses Brown (RI) - The Quakers will be back this summer for a second straight appearance, fresh off a winter in which Moses Brown earned the No. 1 seed in Rhode Island's Division III tournament.

New England Colonials (Intl) - A group of 11 high school players from 11 different countries, the Colonials are back for a second straight summer. This year's batch includes newcomers from Poland, Bulgaria, and Montenegro.

Burrillville (RI) - The Broncos return to the field for a third consecutive summer after having reached the Rhode Island Division III tournament this past winter as the No. 6 seed.

Quabbin (MA) - Quabbin also returns for a third straight appearance in the "Wally" Seaver HS Invitational, finishing the year as the No. 6 seed in Division 2 West.

Canton (MA) - The Bulldogs are back in the field for the fourth consecutive year, having the reached the championship game of the "Fight Forth" division last summer.

North Brookfield (MA) - One of our first newcomers to the field in 2015, North Brookfield will compete in the "Fight Forth" division this upcoming summer.

Dedham (MA) - The defending "Fight Forth" champions are back a fourth consecutive summer, looking to improve this off-season following a 13-win season.

Ashland (MA) - The Clockers are back for a fourth consecutive summer. Ashland was the "Fight Forth" runner-ups in 2013.


GIRLS:

Milford (NH) - After making a run to the championship contest in our first summer of opening up the "Give All" division, the Milford (NH) girls will be back for a second straight year.

Hamilton-Wenham (MA) - The Generals will head south once again this summer, joining our girls field for the second straight year.

Milford (MA) - The Scarlet Hawks are also returning for a second straight appearance in the "Wally" Seaver HS Invitational this summer.
